Stittsville Friendship Club

The 37-year-old club was founded in 1982 and currently has more than 250 members. The Club was established to foster and maintain a meaningful quality of life for adult citizens; to provide social activities for adults in the Ottawa area and to encourage interaction with the community. Our objective is to provide activities for older adults (50+) and seniors (65+).
Our current activities include exercise classes, bridge and euchre card groups, shuffleboard, monthly luncheons including local entertainers, bi-monthly trips to theatres, plays, comedy shows and other places of interest, and support for community charities. The club distributes a bi-monthly newsletter highlighting upcoming events and reporting on recent trips which are well attended by members. The club also supports local charities such as Stittsville Food Bank and Ottawa Hospice.
